Saudi Arabia’s Commitment to Music Education 

Saudi Arabia has undergone extraordinary socio-economic reforms in recent years, and this year - in line with the Kingdom's "Vision 2030" plan - music has become a core part of the school curriculum. 

On June 4th, 7,000 female kindergarten teachers participated in a new music training qualifying course for teachers. The Saudi Ministries of Culture and Education are working with the Music Commission to improve cultural competencies through the four-week music program. They’ve acknowledged that exposing children to music at a young age will boost their intellectual, linguistic, social-emotional, and artistic development.

The course improves teachers' cognitive and performance skills, enabling them to identify children's potential early, and nurture them to strengthen educational and cultural sector competition.

MDLBEAST - A Pioneer for Culture
