About this Privacy Statement

Please take the time to carefully read and understand this Privacy Statement. The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to describe the Personal Data we collect about you and provide you with information about how we use, process, disclose and protect the Personal Data we collect about you. 

This Privacy Statement applies to (a) the Platform; (b) any email, text, and/or  other electronic messages between you and any party via the Platform; (c) any mobile or desktop applications you download from the Platformand (d) when you interact with any of our services and applications that include links to this policy.

This Privacy Statement may change from time to time. Your continued use of the Platform after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the statement periodically for updates.

Personal Data that we collect about you And how we collect it

Personal Data means any data which relates to a living individual who can be identified from that data or other information which is in our possession, or is likely to come into our possession (or the possession of our representatives or service providers).  Personal Data does not include data from which the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

We may collect and process the following Personal Data about you when you use the Platform:

Information that you provide us

This includes information about you that you give to us by filling-in forms or by communicating with us, whether face-to-face, by phone, e-mail, surveys and feedback requests or otherwise. This information may include:

  • Identity Information: first name, last name, username (or similar identifier title), date of birth and/or gender.

  • Contact Information: home address, home telephone number and mobile telephone number.

  • Payments & Transaction  Information: payment card details and other details of products and services you have purchased from us. 

  • Information we collect or generate about you. We may use automated technologies or interactions such as cookies, pixels, and other tracking technologies to collect information about you as you navigate through the Platform. This information may include usage details, technical information like your internet protocol (IP) address and location information. We may also collect information about purchases and orders made by you, your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences. 

  • Information we obtain from other sources. This includes the Personal Data provided to us by third-parties, service providers, agencies or other publicly available sources where applicable.

We may disclose your Personal Data within our group of companies for the purposes described above. We will take steps to ensure that your Personal Data is accessed only by our employees that have a need to do so for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement.

We may also share your Personal Data outside of our group of companies as further described below:

  • with our  third party services providers and contractors for the purposes of providing services to us, including e-commerce providers, payments card processors, IT and communications providers, research and analytics providers, law firms, accountants and auditors; 

  • to the extent required by law or regulation;

  • to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights;

  • if we sell our business or assets, in which case we may need to disclose your Personal Data to the prospective buyer for due diligence purposes; and

  • if we are acquired by a third party, in which case the Personal Data held by us about you will be disclosed to the third party buyer. 

International Transfers of Data

We are a global business with customers and operations around the world. As a result, we collect and transfer Personal Data on a global basis. This means that we may transfer your Personal Data to locations outside of your country.

Where we transfer your Personal Data to another country, we will ensure that it is protected and transferred in a manner consistent with applicable legal requirements.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your Personal Data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed or accessed in an unauthorised way. In addition, we limit access to your Personal Data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business ‘need-to-know’. They will only process your Personal Data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected Personal Data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
