Tarek El Mendelek

Tarek El Mendelek is a 29 year old music exec with experience in artist management, A&R and touring. Tarek first started his journey in the industry by supporting artists in putting on live shows around Beirut Lebanon, later moving to Los Angeles to pursue a Music Business degree at UCLA.

During those years in LA, Tarek interned at Live Nation, followed by his tenure as Artist Manager at Grass Fed Music, home to Sabrina Claudio and more, managing upcoming artists, songwriters and producers (Gavin Haley, Krs, August 08 etc..) while simultaneously managing music producer/artist offrami who has amassed over 110M streams.

Since his return to the region in 2020, Tarek has worked on co-creating Music For Beirut, a live-streamed concert aimed at raising funds for the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon after the tragic August 4 explosion. The event was broadcasted by VICE’s NOISEY YouTube channel, and supported by google.

In November 2021, Tarek joined social media giant TikTok as Label & Artist Partnerships Manager where he worked on multiple regional/international projects such as Ali Loka’s “Matkhafish Yamma”, Kouz1’s “Love”, DJ Snake’s “Disco Maghreb” and more. In October 2023, he officially joined MDLBEAST as Artist Manager.
