Qais Raja

Qais Raja is Jordanian/Palestinian musician founder of the experimental Arabic rock band Albaitil Ashwai, and a guitarist and percussionist of the Jordanian rock bank Jadal.
Qais is influenced by reimagining tradition and reframing nostalgia to craft a path of his own, through creating a harmonious blend of ancient melodies and contemporary sounds, resonating with Arabic classical music elements like maqam scale systems and Arabic rhythms and blending them with rock and electronic music.
