Maria Martinez Iturriaga

María Martínez Iturriaga is the senior vice president for international learning environments and is responsible for expanding Berklee’s global impact through the creation of an interdisciplinary ecosystem of learning environments and partnerships that foster and inspire new artistic expressions, exchange, and innovative collaborations. In her role she also oversees Berklee’s center in Abu Dhabi and is responsible for leading the exploration of global markets and prototyping innovative educational and industry partnerships that elevate Berklee’s diversified offerings. María joined Berklee in 2008, and was at the forefront of establishing the college’s first international campus in Valencia, Spain, where she served as executive director from 2016 to 2023.
