Coming from Amman - Jordan, DJ and producer Amro Malhas established himself as an integral part of the Amman scene for his deep, minimal sound. His persistent determination to be a part of the global house music movement saw him become a central figure of the local circuit and was only further confirmed by founding local event label Vortex.

Vortex grew to be an influential addition to the local scene. Importing various huge names in the past few years. Gaining
international/regional attention and growing popularity amongst party goers with their regular big scale events and at their heart their Open-Air festival bringing together close to a thousand dancers annually.
