ALBAITIL ASHWAI

Albaitil Ashwai is an experimental Arabic Rock band from the Levant of Palestinian origins, based in Amman that fuses Classical Arabic and Folk music from around the region with modern sounds like Rock, Reggae and Electronica in a well crafted and colorful blend of sonic finesse, while lyrically the band is heavily inspired by Sufi mysticism and the conflicts happening around the region. The band was established by old time friends Qais Raja, Feras Arrabi and Saif Abu Hamdan in their college years. Each band member is influenced by different musical backgrounds that gave this project its unique identity.
