WYWY is a dream pop duo and sound artists consisting of X Alvarez on vocals, synth, and xylophone, and Mckie on guitars, bass, and synth.

Since their formation in 2015, WYWY has been crafting a sound that blends ethereal, dreamlike
melodies with introspective and atmospheric elements, offering listeners a unique fusion of shoegaze, ambient, and experimental music. Known for their haunting and emotive performances, WYWY is also recognized for bridging the gap between music and sound art, often involving commissioned work in the visual and sound art communities.

Their release, Whispers of Existence—a 10-track vinyl album—captures the duo’s evolution with haunting intimacy and cinematic depth. The project made its live debut at The Fridge Concert Series, where they performed the album in full for the first time. This milestone concert showcased their artistry in its most immersive form and drew widespread acclaim from audiences and critics alike.
