Sonic Interventions

Sonic Interventions is a Berlin based, transdisciplinary, Diaspora futuristic groove and jazz band. Known for inclusive live spectacles, in which moments of meditation and trance rise into heavy grooves, they merge improvisation, poetry, performance and dance inspired by the cosmos. In 2025 Sonic was awarded the German Jazz Award as Best Newcomer while being nominated two more times, including for the categories Best Liveact and Best Large Ensemble. The band has appeared at Le Guess Who?. Utrecht, Überjazz Hamburg, Fusion Festival Lärz, as well as XJAZZ! Berlin and Rudolstadt Festival. Collaborations include Immanuel Wilkins, Dumama and Àbáse. Their acclaimed Debut Album Do You Remember? appeared on Agogo Records in November 2024 and received critical acclaim.
