Born Nadine Lingawi in Vancouver, Canada, Nadine began writing music from a young age, eventually releasing her first album was titles Tears on a Candle which was fully written and produced by her at the age of 15. The sounds were a combination of her favorite genres, both indie rock and house. Shortly after, she wrote her second album titled Jibber-Junk. This album took experimentation to a new level, challenging herself to finish each song (both writing and production) in less than a day.
fulana was born in 2012 as she first entered her undergrad study of architecture. The stage name was used initially to hide herself from public recognition when she first started posting her music publicly on SoundCloud. She found that the name fulana was the safest to use, to be completely anonymous.
In early 2013, fulana put out her first public album, The Telling (which remains her favorite). This album gained an audience beyond her expectation with roughly 100 listeners per day, both locally and internationally.
In 2015, Nadine wrote her first love-themed album titled In the Garden. In the Garden was, in its way, the birth of the style fulana continued to develop. This album gained recognition from local production houses as well as record labels.
Nadine put a hold on releasing her music between the years of 2015 and 2018, having her studies take most of her time, however manage to put out a few singles, amongst them were Ghosts and Aquarius that grabbed the attention of bigger names in the music industry, all of which she turned down. She wrote an entire album titled CLINT that never saw the light of day, except for her track, Minarets

In late 2020, fulana signed to the Saudi indie record label Wall of Sound.
her debut single with the label, Minaret, which arrived in the first half of 2021. The singer/songwriter then came to further prominence after releasing her 2nd single Lore in the summer of 2021, fulana delivered a series of singles in 2022, starting with her heart wrenching Arabic ballad Toot Barri, which was a new corner stone in fulana’s music career, attracting bigger and wider audience, before following up with the dark pop single Trouble, throughout her releases, in Feb 2022, fulana agreed to have her first show, being her first appearance in person.

By the end of 2022, fulana had release one of her most cherishing anthems Ghosts and Lore the acoustic version. With the name fulana becoming more popular and with opportunities for bigger shows coming her way including but not limited to Hayy Jameel, MDLBEAST XP, Wasla, XP Music Conference in Riyadh, Mdlbeast Al Balad, Wall of Sound Live Sessions, Get in the feels, and many more

Starting 2023 with a series of live shows in Athr Gallery, The Alternative Sound and her 1st regional gig in Amman under the name of Electrocity alongside the Egyptian producer El Waili and the Jordanian duo Tayar, releasing her 7th single Reprobate which been critically claimed.
