Alton Miller

Detroit-based Alton Miller, a trailblazing figure in House Music for over three decades, draws inspiration from his Chicago roots and Detroit's vibrant club scene. Influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Santana, and Parliament Funkadelic, his early soul music roots kindled a passion for the dance and music fusion. Alton honed his DJ skills under the guidance of legends like Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles. In 1988, he co-founded The Music Institute with Chez Damier and George Baker, shaping Detroit's club heritage.

Alton Miller's global journey through France, Belgium, and South Africa expanded his musical horizons. He's played on every continent and at prestigious festivals, releasing music on renowned labels like Planet E and Defected. Since 2019, he's embraced South Africa's thriving house music scene and founded the Alton Miller Foundation to mentor youth. His forthcoming album, "Now Is The Time," is set for a 2023 release on Sound Signature. Two singles, "Bring Me Down" (2017) and "Love Don't Pass Me By" (2022), precede it.
