RIYADH: MDLBEAST hosted a Ramadan sahoor night at Beast House in Jax district, Diriyah, with prominent female media professionals and the company’s female team members in attendance.

The event marked the launch of the second Hunna initiative and included discussions on the successful experiences of female leaders at MDLBEAST who have significantly contributed to advancing the music industry in the Kingdom and the region.

Nada Al-Helabi, strategic director at MDLBEAST and director of XP Music Futures Conference, emphasized the importance of supporting creativity and innovation in the Kingdom and highlighted MDLBEAST’s journey of achievements in advancing the Saudi music and creative industry within a few years.

She mentioned the XP Music Futures Conference and its core mission to enhance the music industry in the Middle East, develop sector policies, initiate a conversation on ways to build the music ecosystem, and empower young artists, producers, and label owners to transform their passions into a sustainable career path.

The conference has launched several initiatives to support talents, Al-Helabi said, including the Hunna initiative to empower women, connecting rising female stars with successful women in the music industry.

The Hunna mentorship program for 2024 is now open for registration and will close after Eid Al-Fitr.

Women in the Middle East and North Africa region, including aspiring singers, songwriters, music producers, and talent managers, can apply for the program through a form to receive mentorship from prominent industry professionals.

The program also includes a form for mentors interested in participating.

Al-Helabi added that the Hunna program has established a dedicated WhatsApp group to follow industry news and upcoming events and will host regular listening circles throughout the region, open for women to participate.

Beast House, an innovative hub in Jax district, nurtures talent by offering a creative space for artists and music enthusiasts. The club includes a cutting-edge recording studio, production rooms, designated spaces for workshops and music seminars, and a versatile stage for concerts and musical events.

The hub provides four membership tiers, each with unique benefits. The studio membership, designed for creative individuals, grants access to recording studios and specialized programs to enhance musical skills, fostering engagement with the vibrant creative community.
