The Business Development Manager will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective strategy to develop and diversify the business so that income increases, and the future and growth of the organisation are guaranteed. With the goal to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. Such as opening non-traditional ticket sales channels, third party event management, creating new product and experience offerings for our event audience, maximising commercial streams across ticketing, food and beverage, retail and integrating new technologies into our consumer operations.

Responsibilities

  • Developing growth strategies and plans
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Increasing client base and build market position
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Writing business proposals
  • Negotiating with stakeholders
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Researching business opportunities, new markets and viable income streams, as well as identifying trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations.
  • Ability to estimate partners’ needs and goals.
  • Keep abreast with industry trends locally and internationally
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities.
  • RFP tender management.

Requirements

  • Degree Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Event booking, Agencies and Management.
  • B2B, B2G and B2C experience with Corporates, Government Organizations,
  • Online & Offline Travel & Tourism Companies, Hospitality partners, MICE and Various Business Trade Associations.
  • Ticketing, bundling and pricing offers.
  • High-level communication skills Arabic would be beneficial
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets
  • Financial acumen
  • Proficiency in MS office and (CRM software such as Salesforce would be beneficial)
  • Excellent leadership skills
